On December 19, 2014 it was signed a contract FNI E02/20 between the National Science Fund (NSF) as a financing party and the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG) as a beneficiary.

The National Science Fund aims to support projects and activities to promote research in compliance with ratified framework programs with defined priorities of the European Union, as well as with the "Strategy for Development of Science in Bulgaria" 2020.

About Beneficiary

The University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy UACEG) is educational and research institution with more than seventy years history. The university buildings are situated in the center of Bulgarian capital – Sofia. Currently 5000 students and 50 PhD students are studying there. The academic staff consists of more than 350 scholars.

Throughout its existence, the University has trained more than 5900 architects and 25000 engineers. Specifically the education in architecture has been accredited by Bulgarian and international accreditation institutions such as the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Ministry of Culture of France.
